tuesday shoesday: absurdly fantastic.
paper.
wedding wednesday: the light.
there is nothing prettier than the light just before the sun sets. especially over lake champlain, and especially after the long dark winter we have had. and yesterday, for the first time since i can't remember when, i was aware of that brilliant and romantic light at the end of the day. (spring is in the air, i can feel it!)
* please note that the heavy sell on this concept is because mr. frederickson just about passed out when i told him we might have to leave our wedding party for a few minutes for a cocktail hour photo shoot. (miss a party!? him? never) but i am hoping that maybe these lovely images will sway him...{sunset via, weddings via}
wedding wednesday: the bags.
first of all, i have to apologize for disappearing the last few days. life, once again, got in the way of blogging. the good news is that i have been stockpiling some fun little blog ideas, so hopefully i will be back at it with avengence this week.

seriously. it's green, it's local, it's reusable and just too darn cute to pass up. love love love. i think i just might be making some phone calls today. Read more...

zoe ink.
this means that tomorrow could quite possibly be the best day in the whole wedding planning process. i have a thing for paper, and really (according to my brilliant mother) the theme of the wedding starts with an invitation...so tomorrow, i get to cozy up with zoe and start the creative process. and the fact that i get to do it with someone as fun and talented as zoe makes it that much more fun! stay tuned, i will surely have lots to report tomorrow!any ideas out there for me? any favorites that i need to see?! i need all the help i can get (-:
wedding wednesday: on a thursday
thanks to the fabulously unsolicited tip that i recieved last night from a fabulous old friend, i have spent much of the afternoon getting lost in one photography website after another. eventually, i found my way to wedding chicks where they featured this beautiful vermont wedding...
thank you orchard cove, you had me at milk bottles.
wedding wednesday: the ring shoot
i am just loving these ring shoot ideas from eve event & daria bishop photography. we may not have a venue or a guest list figured out, but it's never too early to think about the details... right? and a good ring shot is certainly one worthy of some thoughtful consideration.
wedding wednesday: things i love...
things i am currently swooning over: this wedding that showcases all of my favorite things, plus a to die for vintage-y dress. (thanks, abby!)
sometimes just looking at pretty things can just brighten the greyest of days, don't you think? now fingers crossed this snowstorm makes its way all the way up north. a little bit of that white fluffy stuff would go a long way...
wedding wednesday: the truck.

best. gift. ever.
cookies & milk & love
cookies and milk will most certainly be a part of our big day (we both love our sweets and you can't get much more vermont-y than milk) and i think this photoshoot just might be the perfect inspiration i didn't even know i was looking for! now all i have to do is find an "&" cookie cutter and some vintage suitcases...back to cyberland i go and i couldn't be happier!
baby, it's cold outside!
so, a winter wedding? what do you think!?!?

love vermont loves: klm design
the super fantastic, and super talented kayla mellen (designer of the super fabulous invitations for the superburbs bachelorette weekend) has done it again - although this time, she is taking her talents live.
check out her recently launched website. it's super fabulous and pretty darn inspirational as well. whether you are looking for an invitation to your next autumnal dinner party, or a way to brand your new business - you have just got to check it out!
there is so much talent here in our little state of vermont, i can't stand it!
woodpile romance.
